Bennett Cup - 2007/08 Final positions

 This is a season long competition based on 9 separate events: Cross-Country Relay, Opening 5, Christmas 5 Handicap, Closing 5, Club 10k, Club 10 mile and three Mob Matches (7 1/2 miles).

Who was W P D Bennett ?  The cup was presented to the Club by his mother.  Read his Obituary.


The 2007/8 final result was Gary Williams (3rd), John Fenwick (1st),
Gary Cook (2nd) after the Closing 5 - 29 March 2008

After all 9 Events 

  163 runners took part: 125 men and 38 women. There were 30 individual prizes: first 3 in each of 9 races and first 3 overall, shared amongst 26 runners: 21 men and 5 women. In addition 13 runners receive a special medal for competing in all 9 Bennett Cup races
