Four of some of the clubs best young multi eventers
were in action down in Tonbridge on Monday for the Kent U13 Pentathlon
Championships. In scorching hot conditions All 4 athletes performed well, 2
in the girls (Daisy Snell and Amber Cockburn) and 2 in the boys (Zuriel
Nwogwugwu and Marley Byfield). Daisy achieved top billing by winning the
Kent champs event and smashing the club record by over 150 points in the
process! Zuriel was 3rd in the boys event (including 5.02 in the Long Jump).
Amber was 4th, with a strong run in the last event, the 800m. Marley was 7th
in the boys event including a big PB of 1.30 in the high jump.
