Paralympic Games, Parris
6 September: Hollie Arnold took the bronze
medal in an incredible women’s javelin F46 competition, her third-round
throw of 40.59m was enough to reach the podium in the penultimate night of
the Paralympics.
2-11 August 2024 - Olympic Games, Parris
4 September: It's not often that you have two Olympians in the
clubhouse, Margaret in Munich (1972) and Sam
(2024)
19 August: Sam came to the track on Monday night and
spent several hours with his young. and not so young, supporters.
10 August: the
4 x 400 team take bronze and as Sam helped them qualify he will get ANOTHER
Bronze medal - what an achivement!
9 August and
Sam helps the Men's 4 x 400 team by running the first leg as they qualified
for the final. And now Dina gets a Silver medal in the 4 x 100
6 August:
Dina finished in 4th place in the 200m final, bring on the 4 x 100!
5 August and
now Dina is into the final of the 200m.

Dina takes
second in her 100m heat on 2 August. Sadly she did not progress from the
semi-final on 3 August.

Dina Takes Gold in the 100m in 10.99
And helps the team to another Gold in the 4x100

A photo of the medalists at BUCS 5000m yesterday.
Niamh won Gold in 16:01, with Tia Wilson, who I coach,
in 2nd in 16:03 (I did warn Niamh before the race that I wouldn't be
cheering for her haha!).
