On Monday 28 April 2003 the Club held a Sporting Dinner, at Chapter One, to raise money for the athletes. About 110 attended this black-tie function and raised around £3000. Our guest of honour was Dame Mary Peters who gave us all an insight into her athletics life with lots of humour - great entertainment.
