Bennett Cup
This is normally a season long competition based on 9 separate events: Cross-Country Relay, Opening 5, Christmas 5 Handicap, Closing 5, Club 10k, Club 10 mile and three Mob Matches (7 1/2 miles), however, due to the Foot & Mouth Epidemic the event was curtailed by the Club Committee on 5 March 2001 after just six events.  It was decided to let the results stand - so congratulations to Dave 'Gripper' Ellison!
