Dina is World Junior Champion in the 100m... runs 11.23 into head wind and annihilates the field. 24-07-14

Dina, Shannon and Cheriece represent Great Britain at the IAAF World Junior Championships. The event will be shown on British Eurosport 22-27 July although with the time difference it looks like the girls will be running in the early hours of the morning UK time. You can track results via the IAAF website. Dina runs 100m,  200m & 4x100m; Shannon 200m & 4x100m; Cheriece 4x400m & 4x100m.  14-07-14

Lewisham Sports Small Grants Scheme 2014–15 launched
Lewisham Council is inviting applications for funding from sports organisations and talented individuals for the Small Grants Scheme 2014–15. This fund will enable Lewisham sports organisations and athletes to Grow, Sustain and Excel within their field. Grants of up to £4,000 are available within the Grow stream, up to £3,500 within the Sustain stream and bursaries of up to £500 are available through the Excel stream. England Athletics, UKA and the other home country governing bodies are alert to our responsibilities to all participants in athletics in respect of all aspects of health and safety. One particular area that young athletes and their parents must be aware of is the risk of cardiac problems. Full information about CRY and their services can be found on their website at www.c-r-y.org.uk . Young people between the age of 14 and 35 who would like to have cardiac testing can go to www.testmyheart.org  You can also see www.uka.org.uk/governance/health-safety/cardiac-screening-for-athletes/  for information on work being done by UKA in this area. 3-05-12

200 Club presents £2000 to help send our Junior Girls to the European Junior Clubs Cup Final in Brno, Czech Rep.

At the Club on Wednesday 4 September 2013, Tony Pontifex, the 200 Club Promoter, presented the President with a cheque for £2000 to help send our junior girls to compete in the European Clubs Cups Final in Brno, Czech Rep. He also gave another £500 towards the cost of the Polo Shirts. Presenting the cheques, Tony thanked the members for their continued support, wished them luck in the future and said that if anyone would like to subscribe to the 200 Club to please contact him on apontifex@hotmail.com  or on 07963738452. 5-09-13

easyfundraising.org.uk is a great way to raise money for charities, schools, sports clubs, community groups, and other good causes just by shopping online. You don’t pay anything extra. So far they’ve raised over £5 million for causes throughout the UK.
B&BHAC is registered with easyfundraising.org.uk and so far has raised around £500 without promoting this facility. This is voluntary, requires no fees and little effort in order to raise “free” money for the Club.

Organised by Bromley MyTime and is a weekly 5k that takes place in Norman Park on Saturday mornings at 09:00. You need to register via their website (free) then just turn up and run/jog the same course, for free, every Saturday! Any age group. 13-09-09


Our Junior Girls took 3rd place at the European Junior Clubs Cups Final in Brno in the Czech Rep, 21 September 2013

At the end of the 2014 T&F Leagues:
The Male Masters team were 4th in the Kent Division
The Female Masters team finished second in the Kent Division
U13 and U15 boys and girls are top of the league in the UKYDL
The Senior Women finished 4th in the UK Women's League and stay in the top division

At the end of the 2013 T&F Leagues:
The Senior Men win Division Two of the British League and are promoted to Division One
The Senior Women finished fifth in the UK Women's League and stay in the top division
The Male Masters team are champions of the Kent Division & runners up in the SCVAC Area Championships
The Female Masters team finished second in the Kent Division & were 3rd in the SCVAC Area Championships
The Junior Athletes were 5th overall in the National Final of UKYDL upper age group
