KLAN are organising a work shops at Norman Park Track. Intro to sprint hurdles and technical delivery  on Sunday 9 November 1-10-14

We are delighted to announce that the first British woman to achieve a 100m title, Miss Asha Philip, will be the guest of honour at the Young Athletes' Awards on 9th November. 23 year old Asha added European gold and Commonwealth bronze 4x100m relay medals to her name this year.
Invitations to all U13, U15, U17 and U20 athletes that competed for the Club this year will be sent out soon.

Fri 14 Nov Annual Club Dinner - Black Tie SOLD OUT


The President, Dick Griffin, has started a "Zero to Park Run in 9 weeks" course.

The course is particularly aimed at beginners but all are welcome. Please pass on to your wives, husbands etc in fact anyone who wants to take up running. The course is completely free. Please meet at Norman Park near the athletic track at 10:00 on Wednesday mornings. 19-09-14

Annual Club Dinner
The annual members' club dinner will be held at the clubhouse on Friday, 14 November 2014 - 19.00 for 19.30. The President's joint guests of honour are Dina Asher-Smith and Adam Gemili, who need no introduction to club members.

England Athletics, UKA and the other home country governing bodies are alert to our responsibilities to all participants in athletics in respect of all aspects of health and safety. One particular area that young athletes and their parents must be aware of is the risk of cardiac problems. Full information about CRY and their services can be found on their website at www.c-r-y.org.uk . Young people between the age of 14 and 35 who would like to have cardiac testing can go to www.testmyheart.org  You can also see www.uka.org.uk/governance/health-safety/cardiac-screening-for-athletes/  for information on work being done by UKA in this area. 3-05-12

200 Club presents £2000 to help send our Junior Girls to the European Junior Clubs Cup Final in Brno, Czech Rep.

At the Club on Wednesday 4 September 2013, Tony Pontifex, the 200 Club Promoter, presented the President with a cheque for £2000 to help send our junior girls to compete in the European Clubs Cups Final in Brno, Czech Rep. He also gave another £500 towards the cost of the Polo Shirts. Presenting the cheques, Tony thanked the members for their continued support, wished them luck in the future and said that if anyone would like to subscribe to the 200 Club to please contact him on apontifex@hotmail.com  or on 07963738452. 5-09-13

Organised by Bromley MyTime and is a weekly 5k that takes place in Norman Park on Saturday mornings at 09:00. You need to register via their website (free) then just turn up and run/jog the same course, for free, every Saturday! Any age group. 13-09-09


Our Junior Girls took 3rd place at the European Junior Clubs Cups Final in Brno in the Czech Rep, 21 September 2013

At the end of the 2014 T&F Leagues:
The Senior Men finish 3rd in Division One of the British League
The Male Masters team were 4th in the Kent Division
The Female Masters team finished second in the Kent Division & 3rd in the Area Final
U13 and U15 boys and girls are top of the league in the UKYDL & came 2nd in the National Final
U17 and U20 boys and girls were second in the league in the UKYDL & came 2nd in the National Final - The Junior Girls came 1st
The Senior Women finished 4th in the UK Women's League and stay in the top division
